Northwest Creek
Marina at Fairfield Harbour
The entrance to Northwest
Creek Marina is located at 35 degrees 03.173 minutes
North/ Longitude 76 degrees 57.855 minutes West. It is
about 15 miles from the Intracoastal waterway and 5
miles from historic downtown New Bern.
Northwest Creek Marina
offers gas and diesel fuels, fixed and portable pump-out
facilities, laundry room, air-conditioned restrooms and
lounge, wireless internet, and a staff that provide
exceptional service.
Northwest Marina has 272
slips and can handle up to 75' boats. Adjacent to the
marina is Hurricanes, a full service restaurant with
live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. Broad Creek Recreation
Association with indoor and outdoor pools, miniature
golf, lighted tennis courts, Jacuzzi, exercise room and
sauna. These facilities, plus the golf courses of the
nearby Fairfield Harbour development, are available to
Marina patrons at a nominal cost.
The marina is well
protected from storms and only a few hundred yards
away from the deep, wide waters of the Neuse River.
Northwest Creek is
navigable for larger boats and you will find large motor
and sailboats parked behind their homes located in

Riverbend Marina
Riverbend marina is a relatively
new marina built in 2005.
With 103 slips they can accommodate up to a 35' boat. They offer gas, water, power, pump out facilities, and wi-fi
internet service. The Riverbend Marina is located on the Riverbend
Canal and is well protected from storms. The canal is around 5-6
feet deep and is effected by wind tides. From the marina, cruising at 15 knots, it takes about 30
minutes reach downtown historic downtown New Bern.

Bridgepointe Marina
Located directly across the Trent River from the
Sheraton, the Bridgepointe Marina has 125 slips and can accommodate up to
a 100' boat on the end docks. They have a captains room complete
with TV, laundry room, and showers. When the Trent River bridge is
rebuilt you will be able to
walk from the Bridgepointe to downtown New Bern in about 15 minutes.
Bridgepointe has a pump out facility but do not have fuel. The
nearest fuel dock is about 1/2 mile away.

Sheraton Hotel
and marina
Located in historic
downtown New Bern the Sheraton can accommodate boats in excess of
100'. You will often find brand new Hatteras Yachts, like the
ones in the above picture, docked here. Shopping and restaurants are located within walking distance.
Fuel is no longer available here.
During the warmer months the Sheraton has a deck party on Friday
Nights with live music, dancing, and your favorite food and
beverages. Sunday jazz on
the deck starts at 5:00 P.M. and includes the best jazz groups in
Eastern N.C. Come join the fun.

Eastern North Carolina Yacht Club
Eastern NC Yacht Club is a private Yacht
Club located on the Trent River adjacent to New Bern Golf and Country
Club. Membership is limited and currently there is a 5 year waiting list
to get in.

Duck Creek
Marina
Located on
Sandy Point Road Duck Creek Marina 55 slips that will handle up to a
35 boat. Duck Creek can dry dock up to about a 45 boat. The channel
into the marina is shallow in places and you need to be careful if
your boat draft is over 3.5 feet.
Fuel and pump out is not available.
From
downtown New Bern it is about a 10 minute drive to Duck Creek Marina
and a 15 minute boat ride.

Tidewater Marine Company Inc.
Tidewater, owned and
operated by Eugene Summrell, has served New Bern for over 32
years. They are a full service boatyard with a railroad lift and can
service boats up to 60'. They also have around 40 boat slips that
will accommodate up to 50'. Fuel and pump out is not available.

Black beard's Marina and
Sailing Club
Located on Broad Creek, about
1
mile by water from Northwest Creek Marina Blackbeard's Marina
is a private facility limited to sail boats only. Call 252-633-3990
information on sailing tournaments as well as membership.

Mathews Point Marina
Mathews Point Marina is
located on Clubfoot Creek about 8 miles from Cherry
Point Marine Air Station and about 5 miles from Adams Creek
which is part of the inter-coastal waterway. This marina is tucked in a safe
harbor and serves sail and power vessels up to 45 feet. It
has 105 slips, six of which are transient berths. It has a
market channel about 6 feet deep and dockside depth of 6-7
feet.
Mathews Point offers gas,
diesel, electricity, pump out station, laundry facility,
showers and ice. A clubhouse and cook out areas are also
available to boaters.

Bridgeton Harbor
The newest marina in the area,
Bridgeton Harbor Marina is located across the Neuse River from New
Bern in the city of Bridgeton. It is about a 12 minute car drive from
Bridgeton to New Bern's historic district and a 10 minute boat
ride.
The marina has 129 slips that can
accommodate boats up to 150 feet and transient slips that will
accommodate up to 150'. The state of the art floating dock
installation with enhancements are designed to handle luxury yachts
of any size. There is a planned Harbor Yacht Club that will offer a
full complement of world class boating amenities.
The
electrical system was designed to handle the needs of large
luxury yachts. Other features include wireless internet,
cable TV, gas and diesel fuel, dock carts, laundry and
shower facilities.
Most slips will be available for
lease under contracts that range from 3 months to 1 year, however
some transient slips will be available.

Galley Store and Marina
Another new marina located in historic
downtown New Bern the Galley offers slips to transient and
long term stay. This marina has a pump out station, fuel
docks, showers, galley store, executive chef for on board
meals, and many other amenities. It is located within
walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in

Oriental Harbor
The
town of Oriental has become well known to sailors and power
boaters throughout the east coast. For several hundred years
Oriental has been a sheltered harbor to the fishing industry
in Eastern North Carolina. Although fishing is still an
vital industry to Oriental, sailing and tourism are becoming
increasing important. With dozens of sailing regattas every
